It being high summer, that time of gazing wistfully out the office window at the daisies wishing for something to do besides work, and it being nearly a year now since our last poll, I thought it was high time for some more audience participation.
Last time we heard from more than 100 people. This time, I’m raising the numbers AND the stakes. For every 100 people who vote on poll #2, I’ll buy 1 of them a year’s subscription to the magazine of their choice. And if we get 500 people to vote, I, Michael, will personally buy one lucky randomly-selected reader a Nook Simple Touch or the approximately equivalent e-ink reader of their choice.

BCS Subscriptions, Poll Extension

We have a new subscription from a new press! Beneath Ceaseless Skies features two new literary adventure fantasy stories every two weeks, which at $13.99 for a year’s subscription makes them the best deal for new fiction we’ve going. And single issues are only 99 cents!
In other news, I’m extending the Reader Poll for another week or so. Why? Because we want to hear from you! And because I really want to give away one of those beer steins. I’ve got one and it’s awesome. You don’t know what you’re missing until you vote!

According to Counterize, we broke 200k unique visitors! Hooray.
Since we haven’t added new titles in a few weeks while Gavin has been away in Scotland (we’ll have more early in September, including the new LCRW, new titles from Less Than Three Press, and of course the magazines), I (Michael) thought I’d try a poll for a change.
For this first poll anyhow, you’ll need to be logged in to vote, so I know who to send prizes to. For every ten people who vote before August 31st, one person will get a coupon for 30% off their next order. For every 100 people who vote before let’s say the end of the year, one person will get their choice of a Weightless Books beer stein or travel mug!
