What we do have for your viewing in Icarus 17 are several new stories: Christine Morgan’s “Masque of the Rue Paule,” is a clever pastiche of drag culture with a touch of the macabre; Nathan Tavares uses one of my favorite divination devices, the Ouija board*, to seek answers one young man is desperate to know in “Yes—No—Goodbye”; if you happen to have smelling salts at hand, you might need them after reading Eric Mathieu’s horror tale “The Scottish Maiden”; Jonathan Harper returns to the realm of desires lost and found in “The Curiosity Shoppe”; and we have a double daring treat and trick a few months early in an interview and tale from author/editor (of Glitterwolf) Matt Cresswell.
