IMAGINARIUM 4: THE BEST CANADIAN SPECULATIVE WRITING is a reprint anthology collecting speculative short fiction and poetry (science fiction, fantasy, horror, magic realism, etc.) that represents the best work published by Canadian writers in the 2014 calendar year.


Sandra Kasturi is the co-publisher of the British Fantasy Award-winning and World Fantasy Award-nominted press, ChiZine Publications. She is the editor of the Aurora Award-nominted anthology, THE STARS AS SEEN FROM THIS PARTICULAR ANGLE OF NIGHT, the author of two poetry collections, THE ANIMAL BRIDEGROOM and COME LATE TO THE LOVE OF BIRDSs, and the co-creator of the children’s animated series, SINISTER HORDE.

Helen Marshall is an award-winning author, editor, and doctor of medieval studies. She is the author of two poetry chapbooks and a collection of short fiction, HAIR SIDE, FLESH SIDE, which was named one of the top ten books of 2012 by JANUARY MAGAZINE. It won the 2013 British Fantasy Award for Best Newcomer. She currently lives in Oxford, England where she studies ancient manuscripts.
