Congress Magazine‘s inaugural issue starts things off with Livia Llewellyn’s “Bohemian Grove, 1916,” perfect summer reading if you love rumpled dresses, tanned thighs, and owls. Then, Robert Levy takes us to a world of drugs, love, and transgression with “My Heart’s Own Desire.” Our reprint this month is Matthew Addison’s “Wish Girls,” where we learn that if wishes were sexy immortal cheerleaders, beggars would… well, they’d ride.
