Reader Poll, with Prizes!
According to Counterize, we broke 200k unique visitors! Hooray.
Since we haven’t added new titles in a few weeks while Gavin has been away in Scotland (we’ll have more early in September, including the new LCRW, new titles from Less Than Three Press, and of course the magazines), I (Michael) thought I’d try a poll for a change.

For this first poll anyhow, you’ll need to be logged in to vote, so I know who to send prizes to. For every ten people who vote before August 31st, one person will get a coupon for 30% off their next order. For every 100 people who vote before let’s say the end of the year, one person will get their choice of a Weightless Books beer stein or travel mug!

ereader: Bookeen Opus
I experienced some troubles answering to some questions of the poll (and I know for sure that other people had the same experience). Here the answers I couldn’t give directly.
* Which device(s) do you use to browse/shop for ebooks on Weightless?
Laptop
* Which device(s) do you use to read your ebooks?
Laptop
Something else: it would have been good to have at least two possibilities for answering the question ”What would you like to see more of on Weightless?”.
Anyway, thank you for asking our opinion!
Antonella
Antonella,
Whoops! Yes, I meant it to let you put in multiple answers for that last question, sorry. I fixed it so you can. Thanks for letting me know!
As far not being able to answer the other questions–you have to click “Vote” on each question–could that be the problem?
If anyone is having trouble answering the questions (not seeing the “Vote” button, for example), please try two things:
1. Make sure you’re logged in to the site.
2. Delete your browser cookies and login again.
(chanting) More books, more books, more books!!!
I would love to see back issue bundles of some of the magazines, e.g. 4 back issues of LCRW for the price of a subscription…
Maybe also trial bags/bundles for different magazines, maybe with back issues, so people can easily & cheaply try new magazines, e.g. one each of LCRW, Fantasy, Weird Tales, Apex or maybe oriented on themes (Weird, Fantasy, SF, Horror?)
Goetznl: thanks! These are great suggestions.
Looking forward to seeing Weightless Books at The Boston Book Festival
See you there! We’ll have a Small Beer booth (#12) and will have, em, Weightless postcards? How does an ebooksite attend a bookfair??
I voted “other” for the ereader device. I have a Kobo eReader and I’m thinking of getting another device, but from Sony, this time.
I voted other for e-reader devices since I have PocketBook 360. I would also like to see back issue bundles as goetzni proposed. If I like the magazine I usually try to buy back issues and it would be great to be able to get several of them for set price.
I read on Android smartphone with Aldiko Premium, which is an excellent epub reader. Also occasionally on an (old now) Sony PRS-505 eink reader. But ONLY epub on that platform, never .lrf, on principle.
I also use a Sony Reader, but I am phasing that out.
I like the suggestion by #6 above re: magazine bundles to check out new-to-me titles.
